BOTANIST CONTENT DAY
'The brief'
Sammie Lou Bridal and Thorburn’s are looking for new ways to engage with their audience on social media platforms. They want to create visually stunning and informative content that showcases their products and services while also telling a unique story. The brief requires the creation of social media assets that can be used across multiple platforms to attract potential customers and promote their brand. The goal is to showcase the quality and elegance of the dresses and classiness and smart, sharp products in a way that captures the attention of their target audience. The assets should appeal to both engaged couples and individuals in need of quality suits for special occasions.
We were briefed to find a location, models and vibe to replicate a wedding day style shoot creating the illusion of love, whilst promoting the products both brands have to offer. We lucked out with the Botanist in Coventry, it’s perfect botanical vibe, mixed with the boho colour schemes really played into our hands, every corner of this wonderful bar is delight to shoot in. Natural light beams in from the skylight mixed with rustic orange lights from the bulbs.
We also approached twi fantastic models to work with on the day, professional models are a lot easier to work with when on a time restraint with the venue, we had to complete the shoot by mid day before the restaurant opens to the public. We opted for Reece Cummings, and Astrid Flint Both models were fantastic to work with on the day!
'creating a look & feel'
When shooting the content from the day, we need to focus on content solely for the suit client Thorburn’s and the bridal shop Sammie Lou Bridal. Each have a specific look and feel we built up on their social pages over the past year. Whilst also creating some collaborative images of both bride and groom together for a few collaborations on instagram.
This shoot was great fun to shoot, working with a fantastic team, everybody really enjoyed each others company and it was great to work with such a fantastic group of people to make the whole look and feel of the shoot come together!
